We are excited to announce a new chapter for our granola: Big Sky Bread Company (Iowa) will now offer granola under the name SIBLING RIVALRY GRANOLA COMPANY, complete with a fresh logo. Please note that our breads, cookies, and pastries will continue to be sold under the Big Sky Bread Company (Iowa) name.
Trademark and Expansion Plans
To expand our reach and continue the growth of our label, securing a registered trademark was essential. Previously, we could only sell privately across state lines, as the Big Sky Bread trademark was held by another store in a different state. With our trademark now approved, we are moving forward with plans to sell on Amazon and to businesses nationwide.
Family Effort in Branding
The new name and logo celebrate the partnership between siblings Steve Glas and Amy Reynolds, reflecting what our local customers already know about our business. Amy’s husband, Bobby, designed the characters for the logo, while Steve’s wife, Terri, selected the color palette. This rebranding is the result of a true family collaboration.
Granola Recipe and Team
It is important to emphasize that our granola recipe remains unchanged; only the name and logo are different. Amy continues to bake the granola, Karla and Martha handle the packaging, and Steve manages deliveries.
